E. Armistead (Armi) Easterby

E. Armistead (Armi) Easterby heads up the Patent Litigation docket for Williams Kherkher Law Firm. A cum laude graduate of The University of Houston Law Center, Armi has been practicing law for over a decade. Prior to joining Williams Kherkher, Armi was a partner at Looper Reed & McGraw.

In addition to trying cases involving disputes over intellectual property, Armi also has vast experience with commercial as well as consumer litigation. Armi has successfully settled patent infringement cases, including a complex case against BP.

Armi is licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Court of Federal Claims, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and all U.S. District Courts in Texas. He also is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

David W. Alexander

David W. Alexander, an attorney at Williams Kherkher, co-manages the firm's patent docket with Armi and John. Prior to becoming a lawyer, David worked for more than 25 years as a chemical engineer and plant manufacturing manager.

David earned his bachelors in chemical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Later, he completed his Ph d. from North Carolina State University. David's law degree is from South Texas College of Law.

David is licensed to practice law in all Texas state courts, all Virginia commonwealth courts, the U.S. District for the Southern District of Texas and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the state bars of Texas and Virginia, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

D. John Neese, Jr.

John Neese is an associate with Williams Kherkher who co-manages the firm's patent docket. John also manages Williams Kherkher's welding fumes docket and is heavily involved in litigation surrounding MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether) exposure.

John earned his bachelors from the University of Houston, graduating cum laude. He also earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated summa cum laude. After graduating, John spent four years as a litigator at Vinson & Elkins, where he tried cases involving issues of commercial, personal injury and real estate law.

John is a member in good standing of the Houston and Texas Trial Lawyers Associations, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Texas. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal district courts in Texas.
